Monastic Lessons
Michael Snellen and Fr. Michael co-founded a revolutionary new idea. At the oldest monastery in America, the Abbey of Gethsemani, after a big promotional campaign in the local area and throughout the entire Archdiocese, a group of around 15 or so people gathered to listen to a monk talk. The speech wasn't long, but the discussion afterward shined a light on the monastic life.
A group of this nature not only has the chance to rejuvenate the faith of those who attend, attract outsiders, be a place of unity for a town, it also is a good way to make people aware of the monastic life, and thus assist vocations.
If you would like to learn how to start a revival of Western Monasticism at your local monastery or convent, this is the course for you!
